This page exists so you can judge our writing on something other than its confidence. It sets out who produces the articles on this site, how they are reviewed, how we source figures, how corrections are handled, and the line we hold between advertising and editorial.
Who writes this
Every article on our blog is written in-house by the Gopang IT Solution team — the same people who design, build, deploy and maintain the projects the articles describe. Bylines name the team responsible: our delivery, mobile, web, backend, cloud or AI group, depending on the subject.
We do not accept guest posts, sponsored articles, paid link placements or syndicated content. We do not buy content from writing agencies, and we do not publish bulk-generated text. If we ever publish something produced in partnership with another organisation, it will be labelled as such at the top of the article.
What we choose to publish
An article gets written when it meets one of three tests:
- We answer the question repeatedly in client calls. Cost breakdowns, framework choices, platform comparisons. If we have explained something more than five times, it should be written down properly.
- We know something from doing the work that is not easily available online. Real cost ranges, the actual checklist we run, the failure patterns we have seen in rescue projects.
- The existing material online is misleading. Usually because it is written by a vendor with something to sell, or by a writer who has never shipped the thing they are describing.
We deliberately do not publish news commentary, product-launch roundups, listicles assembled from other people's articles, or thin pages written to catch search traffic. Those things fill a publishing calendar; they do not help the person reading.
How an article is produced
- Drafted by a practitioner. Someone who has done the work writes the first version, including the specifics — numbers, tools, versions, trade-offs.
- Technically reviewed. A second engineer with relevant experience checks the claims. Anything nobody can defend is cut, not softened.
- Figures checked. Cost and timeline ranges are checked against our own project records. Third-party pricing and availability are checked against the vendor's own documentation at the time of writing.
- Edited for clarity. We remove padding, hedging and marketing language. If a paragraph exists to reach a word count, it goes.
- Published with a date and an author. So you can weigh how current it is.
We use ordinary software tooling in this process — editors, spell-checkers, formatters, and assistance with structuring and tightening prose. What we do not do is publish machine-generated text that no experienced person has verified. Every article on this site has been read, checked and signed off by someone who could defend its claims in a client meeting.
Sourcing and evidence
Our articles draw primarily on first-party experience: projects we quoted, built, deployed and maintained. That is our main claim to being worth reading, and it is also a limitation worth stating — our sample is our own client base, which skews toward small and mid-size businesses in Pakistan, the Gulf, Europe and North America.
Standards we hold to:
- We distinguish measurement from opinion. "We measured X" and "we think X" are written differently, on purpose.
- We do not invent statistics. If we cannot substantiate a number, we describe the direction of an effect instead of fabricating a percentage. Where an industry claim is widely repeated but not something we can verify, we say so rather than quoting it as fact.
- We date volatile facts. Pricing, framework versions and regional service availability change; the publication date tells you how much to trust them.
- We name limitations. Where our experience does not extend to a case, we say so rather than generalising.
- We attribute and link. Third-party material is credited and linked to its source. We quote briefly and never reproduce another publisher's article.
Conflicts of interest
We are a software studio. We benefit commercially if you hire us, and most of our articles end with an invitation to talk to us. That is an obvious interest and we would rather state it than pretend to neutrality.
What we do about it:
- No affiliate links, anywhere on this site. When we recommend a hosting provider, a platform or a tool, we earn nothing from it.
- No paid placements. No vendor has paid, or can pay, to be recommended in our articles or to be removed from an unfavourable comparison.
- We publish recommendations against our own interest where they are correct — that a hosted platform beats a custom build, that a rule beats an AI model, that an off-the-shelf product beats a bespoke one, that you may not need an app at all.
- We disclose our position in comparisons. Where we build in both technologies being compared, we say so. Where we have a default preference, we name it as a preference rather than presenting it as a finding.
Advertising, and the line we hold
This site carries third-party advertising, including through Google AdSense. That advertising is completely separate from editorial:
- Advertisers have no influence over content. We cannot see who will advertise on an article before it publishes, and networks cannot request changes to what we write.
- We do not write articles to attract advertising. Topics are chosen by the three tests above, not by advertising rates.
- Adverts are visually distinct from editorial and are not styled to resemble our own content, headlines or links.
- We do not place advertising on functional pages — forms, administrative pages, submission-status pages, the error page, or pages that aggregate third-party headlines. Those pages have no publisher content, so monetising them would be inappropriate.
- We do not ask anyone to click adverts, and we do not place them where they could be clicked by mistake.
How advertising cookies work is described in our Cookie Policy.
Our news section
The site includes a news feed that aggregates technology headlines from third-party publishers. It is clearly separate from our own writing, and we treat it accordingly:
- Only headlines, short summaries and source attribution are shown — never a full third-party article.
- Every item links to the original publisher.
- Aggregated items carry no advertising and are excluded from search indexing, because the content is not ours.
- Inclusion is not endorsement. We do not fact-check third-party reporting, and views expressed in it are the publisher's.
Corrections
We get things wrong sometimes, and the useful response is to fix it visibly.
- Factual errors are corrected as soon as we can verify the correction.
- Substantive corrections — anything that changes the meaning or a recommendation — are noted on the article rather than made silently.
- Typos, broken links and formatting are fixed without a note.
- Out-of-date figures are updated, and where the change is significant the revision date is updated with it.
- Withdrawn advice. If we conclude something we published was wrong rather than merely dated, we say so in the article instead of deleting the page.
To report an error, email gopangitsolution@gmail.com with the page URL and what you believe is wrong. You do not need to be a client, and we would genuinely rather hear it.
Using our material
You may quote short extracts with attribution and a link to the original page. Where an article explicitly offers a template or checklist for you to copy, you may use it freely in your own business, including commercially, without attribution.
You may not republish substantial portions of our articles as your own content. Full terms are in our Terms of Service, and the limits on relying on our published figures are set out in our Disclaimer.
