Who We Are

A software studio, not a reseller

Gopang IT Solution is a software development company based in Islamabad, Pakistan. We design, build, deploy and maintain web applications, mobile apps, e-commerce platforms, cloud infrastructure and AI-assisted tools for clients across Pakistan, the Gulf, Europe and North America. Everything we deliver is built by our own team — we do not subcontract client work to third parties and then put our name on it.

Most of our work falls into one of four shapes: a company needs its first serious website or web application; a business has outgrown spreadsheets and needs a custom system with real user roles and reporting; a product team needs a mobile app with a backend behind it; or a project has stalled with another vendor and someone has to finish it. That last category taught us most of what we know.

What we believe, concretely

Values pages are usually a list of adjectives. Here are ours stated as things we actually do, which is the only form in which they mean anything:

• You own everything, from day one. The Git repository lives in your organisation's account and you are an admin from the first commit — not at final payment. Domain, hosting, cloud, app store and payment gateway accounts are registered in your company's name. We have been called to help businesses who owned their source code and still could not deploy it, because a previous vendor held the accounts. We refuse to create that situation.
• We publish our prices. Our cost breakdown gives real rupee ranges for websites, apps and custom systems, plus the six cost lines most quotes leave out. Very few agencies in this market will do that. It costs us some negotiating room and saves everybody a fortnight.
• We will talk you out of things. If a hosted platform beats the custom build you were imagining, if a rule beats an AI model, if you need a good mobile website rather than an app — we say so. That answer has cost us signed work more than once. It remains the right answer, and it is the single fastest way to tell whether an agency is worth hiring: ask three, and see which one is willing to argue with you.
• One senior engineer owns each project's architecture. Named in the proposal, accountable for coherence. Almost every unmaintainable codebase we have been asked to rescue had three developers, three opinions and no arbiter.
• You see working software early. A deployed, clickable build by week three or four, then a new one every one to two weeks. Percentages in a status report are opinions; a build you can open on your own phone is a fact.
• Testing runs alongside the build. QA compressed into the final week is not quality assurance, it is bug discovery with no time left to fix anything. We test as features land, on real mid-range Android devices on poor connections.

How we are set up

We deliberately run small teams: a designer, one or two engineers, a QA tester who did not write the code, and a project manager you can actually reach. Design happens in-house rather than being subcontracted, because handing designs between organisations is where detail gets lost. We do not add people to go faster — past a certain point coordination costs more than it produces. Details of how we staff and hire are on the team page.

Across the group we build mobile apps in Flutter and React Native, backends in Laravel and Node, front-ends in React and Vue, and we run infrastructure on AWS, DigitalOcean and conventional hosting. Why we publish a blog

Our blog exists because the questions clients ask us most often have no honest answer available online — what things cost, which framework to choose, whether an agency is overcharging, why the last project failed. Almost everything written on those subjects is either vendor marketing or written by someone who has never shipped the thing they are describing. So we write it ourselves, from our own project records, and we put our reasoning and our figures where you can check them. Working with us

The first conversation is free and there is no sales sequence behind it. For well-defined work we can quote after one call. For anything ambiguous we propose a short paid discovery phase — typically five to ten days — producing wireframes, a technical approach and a firm build quote, and the output is yours whether or not you continue with us. It is the cheapest stage of any project, because it is the only one where changing your mind costs nothing but a conversation.
